seo-servicesThere is a coralation between your website ranking and how much money you can make online. Rank highly in Google, Yahoo and MSN and you will make money.  Show up on page 2, 3 or 50 and you will not make a dollar. So it stand to reason you either need to hire a Search Engine Optimization Services or you can do it yourself with the step by step guidance of a professional.

Fellow Australian webmaster Peter Drew is renown for being the owner of one of the worlds best Search Engine Optimization Service called Brute Force SEO. This easy to follow service makes SEO childs play and I personally have been using it since its release in 2008. Infact I used it last night.

I was asked by one of my members about what she needed to look for when trying to find a good Wordpress web hosting company. I sent her an email and then I thought “why don’t I use Brute Force SEO and see what sort of ranking I could get in 24 hours. It was amazing; within 19 hours I was ranked number 4 in Google and number 2 for Australian search results.

Here is a screen capture to prove it.

Of course there are 100’s of  search engine optimization services on the internet and some actually work. But I like to stick with people I know and trust.

Wordpress Web Hosting

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 | 5 Comments »

wordpress-web-hostingOwning a Wordpress website is one of the easiest forms of getting a presence on the internet, but using Wordpress as your sites content management system means you need a Wordpress web hosting package that allows for the addition of mysql database editing through phpmyadmin and Cpanel. Ther are many website hosting companies on the internet, but how do you find one that will allow you to manage your Wordpress website easily?

If you are anything like me, you’d probably like to have a website on the Internet but you just have no idea how to go about it. All this talk of Wordpress web hosting, bandwidth, disc space, and other jargon can cause one to say, “This is too complicated and technical, I just wanted to have a place to put all of my favorite skateboarding photos, cool information on ramp designs, and the best places to skate!” To get a website on the Web you have to go through a web host. The question is how do you find the web host for you?

If you type ‘wordpress web host’ into a search engine like Google you will get thousands of websites. Hit on one of these and like any product on the market you will see all sorts of persuasive propaganda to incite you to use their company; that is if you can decipher any of the technical jargon that only computer-heads can comprehend. Some web hosts offer free business cards with an account; some probably offer free watches…like all consumer industries you the buyer must beware.

I’m an Internet marketer and web designer, so I have specific needs from my web host. I need a hosting package that allows me full control over the backend of my website. And because some of my sites are in the 1000’s of pages I need heaps of data storage. Of course I also want it to be cheap but of a high quality that won’t fall apart while I’m using it, and I hope it would last for posterity.

The Many Benefits of Working from Home

Friday, February 13th, 2009 | 1 Comment »

work-from-home-onlineOperating your own internet business from home has many benefits you can take advantage of. Understanding them will likely encourage you to take part in such an adventure. It is a great way to have plenty of income, flexibility, and to take more control over your time.

It can be hard to juggle a career and family when you work for someone else. Getting time off for activities, to take a vacation, or even when your child is sick can be a challenge. When you work at home you can set your own hours and you get to decide what you are going to take part in. You may be able to work for part of the day and do something else with the rest of your time.

There are many expenses involved with working outside of the home. If you have children, paying for childcare can take a huge chunk of your paycheck. You also have expenses for commuting and for clothes specific to the dress code of that job. All of that is eliminated though when you work from home. While you do need your own space to get the work done, you can be very flexible with everything.

We all understand the value of the dollar, especially when the economy isn’t doing too well. Yet you will be less affected by it when you work from home because you get to take advantage of the global market out there. You aren’t limited to just the economy situation in your own little corner of the world.

Answer Analyst = Top Articles

Friday, February 6th, 2009 | 1 Comment »

answer-analyst-jonathan-legerI wrote a post on Webseo, titled “High Ranking Content Ideas“. It was basically an blog post about how I use Yahoo Answers to find content to write an article about.

My thoughts are that if I am going to write an article, I don’t want to waste my time and I want to be able to research the topic easily and Yahoo Answers allow me to do that. But, it is sloooooooooow! And I could buy plugins that make the job easier, but I wanted a script that would allow me to get content that people are searching for and the answers that will allow me to put together a great answer.

As an example. I want to write an article about keeping a Goldfish and I want to find out what is the most sought after question related to Goldfish. In the past I would have gone to Yahoo Ansers and did a search using the keyword “Goldfish” and then selected the “most popular questions” and then shuffled through all the results until I found a question about Goldfish which had at least 6 answers. Then I would copy all the answers and write and article based on all the answers I had copied. I do not use the answers straight from Yahoo Answers, that’s wrong and I will not do that. I re-write the content based on the answers I had copied.

This whole process works, but is slow and tedious.

Jonathan Leger is a bloody genius and again has come up with a script which will make this whole articles process 50% easier. It’s called Answers Analyst and just like all of Jons scripts Answers Analyst is up there with the best of them.

Check out the Answers Analyst video here and read all the testimonials
